Adopt a Rivendell Bees Hive

If you love honey bees, but aren't able to look after your own hives, or don't want to get THAT close to a colony, why not adopt one of our hives?
 
You can also make hive adoption a great gift to friends or family!
 
By adopting a hive, you will also be helping. not only our honey bees, but also you will be providing habitat and forage for wild bees, such as bumblebees and solitary bees. and other important pollinators, such as hoverflies.
 
In return, adopters will receive;
 
*Certificate of Adoption
*Updates (via email), on what is happening in the apiary, plus information on wild bees (email every other month)
*A jar of spring honey, (227g), usually in July/August
*A jar of summer honey, (227g), usually in September/October
*A beeswax candle
*A tin of beeswax handbalm, 30ml
*Tin/jar of wildflower Seedballs (20)
* A £5 discount code for the online shop, or a £5 gift voucher for exchange in The Bee Hive shop, The Old Dairy Farm, Upper Stowe, Northamptonshire, NN7 4SH.
 
All adoption fees go into apiary maintenance and conservation work. Many species of wildlife will also benefit from your support!
 
You will also be supporting Planet Wild and the Bumblebee Conservation Trust.

Adoption last for 12 months, which ensures the adopter supports their hive and apiary throughout a full year.
 
Updates relate to the apiary, not a specific hive.
 
Hives remain the property of Rivendell Bees Honey Co., and remain located in one of our local apiaries.
